December 19th means there are only 6 days left before Christmas! It also means that the very local spirit company, Victoria Spirits, will be sampling their super-popular Victoria Gin at Hillside Liquor Store from 2-6 pm.
Victoria Gin is produced by the Victoria Spirit Company, located on Old West Saanich road in Central Saanich. Victoria Gin is a family-run operation, and the gin uses as many local botanicals as possible. The gin is handmade in small batches in the gorgeous copper pot-still. The gin is made using ten different botanicals, as organic and locally harvested as possible. These are: juniper berries, coriander, angelica, orris root, lemon peel, orange peel, star anise, cinnamon bark, rose petal and one secret ingredient.
It's hard to describe the complex flavours of this local delicious gin, so why not come in and try it? It's available in both the 375 ml and the 750 ml sizes- perfect for drinking or sharing!
